There was a wonderful synergy with this cross.  Of the dozen or so seedlings that I grew, the majority of them had wonderful branching.  Charles Douglas’s Black Mingo passes on stellar foliage, branching and an unsurpassed germination rate to its off- spring.  The flowers are seldom crowded, but benefit from dead heading because there are just so many of them.  SRP is a powerhouse of floral manufacturing and is easily fertile both ways.
